I have a long running history with Moorgate who cannot produce a CCA to enforce an alleged debt and have admitted by letter, as did their solicitors Shoosmiths, that no legal action could be taken without it. They communicate with me regularly threatening home visits which I always deal with via AAD's excellent letter. Interestingly they have recently quoted Fidelite and Wescot as being potential visitors but when I wrote to both of them they denied any knowledge of this - in the case of Fidelite they wrote saying they had returned my file to Moorgate 2 years ago and were not dealing with me and Wescot similarly had no record of me! Moorgate's response - they no longer will write in reply to my letters about the matter but may still refer to DCA's for a home visit (for which I have clearly withdrawn permission). Happy days.
