    [B]AO[/B] - Administration Order
    [B]AD[/B] - Automatic Discharge
    [B]Annulment[/B] - Cancellation
    [B]AE [/B]- Alter Ego, is generally someone who's previously been banned and has joined under a new username to cause dispute.
    [B]Assets[/B] - Anything that belongs to you that may be used to pay your debts.

    [B]ICO[/B] - Information Commissioners Office, you send your disputes to them if your creditors won't change your credit file information (See Credit Reference File Clean Up Post Bankruptcy Sticky).
    [B]IP[/B] - Insolvency Practitioner, An authorised person who specialises in insolvency, usually an accountant or solicitor. They are authorised either by the Secretary of State or by one of a number of recognised professional bodies. * Please do see a free debt charity, try these first as they don't charge and are impartial *

    [B]Legal charge[/B] - A form of security (e.g. a mortgage) to ensure payment of a debt.

    [B]NRM[/B] - Northern Rock (Asset Management)
    [B]NTB2[/B] - NTB2 - when you go BR and [B]don't have an IPA[/B] you signed two copies of the form NTB2 the purpose of which is to ensure that you are aware of a number of duties and responsibilities required. You are agreeing to inform the OR within 21 days of any change in income/expenditure. The form also points out the bankruptcy restrictions which must be observed until discharge. Once discharged you don't have to inform the OR any more.

    [B]OR[/B] - Official Receiver, when we say OR on this board we often don't mean the actual Official Receiver but we mean the Office of the OR or the staff member representing
    the OR (it is often an Examiner (EXR) or Case Clerk (CCl).

    [B]Proxy [/B]- Instead of attending a meeting, a person can appoint someone to go and vote in their place - a ‘proxy’.
    [B]Public examination[/B] - The court may order that a bankrupt be questioned in open court about his or her affairs, dealings and property.

    [B]RTLU [/B]- Regional Trustee/Liquidator Unit
    [B]RO[/B] - Repossession Order

    [B]SOA[/B] - Statement of Affairs, We often mean Form 6.28 - Statement of Affairs (Debtors Petition)
    [B]SD[/B] - Statutory Demand
    [B]Solvent[/B] - Able to pay one's debts
    [B]SOD[/B] - Suspension of Discharge

    [B]TNIDIS[/B] - Tax and National Insurance Disclosure authority form, when you went BR you would have signed a TNIDIS form, which states any tax rebates go to the OR
    [B]Trustee[/B] - The trustee in bankruptcy is either the official receiver or an insolvency practitioner who takes control of your assets. The trustee’s main duties are to sell these assets and share the money out among the creditors.
    [B]Troll[/B] - A person who posts intentionally controversial posts to cause fights and arguments between posters

    [B]UE[/B] - Unenforceability
    [B]Unsecured creditor[/B] - A creditor who does not hold security (such as a mortgage) for money owed. Some unsecured creditors may also be preferential creditors.
