    Moneyway keep taking payments!

So I made the last payment on my car loan on the 3rd of January. Normally the payment comes out on the first, but it was new year, so the direct debit came off late.
That's me officially debt free now (once I stop dipping back into my overdraft each month).

    Today (31st of January,...

  • Natwest paid out over 1k unarranged overdraft

Guys quick question. Natwest have kindly allowed over 1k payment to pay their business credit card from my mother's account when the balance was zero resulting in unarranged overdraft fees something silly like £6 per day. Can they do this?

  • Letter from Capquest re: old Capital One debt

    Hello all,

    Newbie here

After having had no contact with Capquest for a few years, I have received a letter from them regarding an outstanding Capital One credit card debt. Although I am aware of the debt (it is a defaulted account from 2008) the letter read almost like...

    Dad's council tax

Yet again I'm sorting out my dad's stuff.

Last Thursday (8th) he got a letter from the council saying that he'd missed paying an instalment of his council tax and, as it was the second time he'd missed, he'd lost the right to pay in instalments. They wanted the remainder of the year's council...

Blemain say I owe them £2946. I have had the loan secured against my house since 2007. They keep sending me letters requesting payment. I'm unable to pay the full amount so I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to setup a payment plan or to even get some of the charges removed

    Just a little tip.

In these days of tax being cancelled when a vehicle is transferred this is quite important.

If you move house and return your V5C (logbook) to DVLA to make an address change don't write your name into section 6, or tick any of the boxes. Don't fill in the...
