If this had been an April Fool’s Day joke, you’d have to say it was very creative. Matt Armstrong, 46, left his home in West Norwood, South London on April 1 to find a disabled parking bay had been painted around his car. To top it all off, there was even a parking ticket detailing a fine for £110...

Got a penalty for parking in a loading bay. It was after 6, when (as far as I was aware) anything went. Although I didn't check for any signs. The bay did say loading.
Basically the ticket says go to court and get a CCJ if you don't pay blah blah blah.
If it went to CCJ, baliffs...

Parking ticket.... is it legit?
My daughter got a parking ticket this week from a private-sounding outfit called Parking Control Management UK Ltd but as it's not been issued by the police or the council, does anyone know how legit it is? £60 if paid within 14 days; £100 after that.
Thanks in advance....Last edited by PriorityOne; 9 October 2012, 20:21.

Well Friday the 13th has certainly lived up to it's reputation Don't ask.
My question is this: after a recent panic when my laptop crashed forever (RIP Sony Vaio No 1) I took Niddy's advice and backed up everything on an external hard drive from John Lewis costing £59.95 for 320...
