This is a bit of a long story but I will try and keep it brief.

On 12th May I called EDF and switched onto a new cheaper tariff (so they told me!).

On 2nd June I received a message saying they had messed up and hadn't switched me but they would do so straight...

It looks like that the main energy companies are to refund if account in credit by about £5 or more and if you pay by direct debit.

To date, my Gas it just over £300 in credit and my electric £200 in credit, but our quarterly bills are actually due next week.
