As a bit of background - when I was a student I realised I could open a current account with smile (cooperative bank) with a £500 Interest Free overdraft.
At the time I saw this as magical - and even better that they let me open 3 of these accounts.

Mortage underpayment
Would welcome any thoughts on this.
Had a letter from the Nationwide re arrears on my mortgage. Apparently I have been underpaying my combined mortgage and insurance by a few pounds each month since March 2011 as the insurance component had varied, not the mortgage. Have yet to look back...

dmp for my son
My son is with the Halifax and also has a credit card with £1400 on it and pays back £60 a month, his hours were cut at work and he can't manage paying this back and the Halifax has an overdraft of £300 on it, he wants transfer his direct debits over to his other bank which is his car insurance...Last edited by Spent2much; 19 July 2014, 11:56. I wrote to MBNA and told them about losing my job at the start of december 2012 and told them i could not pay the required amount due to no income but i would make token payments OF £5.00 until i was back in work, i asked them to only contact me via letter due to stress this request...Last edited by Deepie; 9 January 2013, 19:05.

Default Concerns - First Direct
As some of you will know, I have an ongoing dispute with Barclays over an arrangement to pay marker on my credit file despite a 6 year Default dropping off my CRFs in May. I have indeed been paying Barclays by arrangement since the Default in 2006.
I now have an issue with First Direct....

HSBC OVERDRAFT

HSBC Mortgage
Hi All,
My mortgage was in an arrangement to pay. As soon as it went into an arrangement - they updated my CR files with AR - which is fine.
The arragenment to pay ended in July and they are yet to update my file.
How can they be so quick to put bad stuff on...
