Question regarding CCA sec 87 (1)
If a DN quotes the above section does it only apply to regulated agreements.Or can it apply to any unregulated(exempt) also?

Had a letter from a DCA regarding an old debt from about 8 years ago.Its been sold on from a previous DCA who couldnt provide a CCA to me back then.I did start paying the other DCA,but stopped paying 4 years ago,CCA'd them and as they couldnt provide a CCA they basically didnt pursue the debt.

Wife got a letter from Lowell, reference a mobile phone contract that was defaulted on a few years back. I sent them a prove it letter.
Got a letter in response saying that they had bought the debt from O2 and they enclosed a computerised print out of payments made on the account....

Just thought i'd give a bit of an update to my history and recent events. Basically, in a nutshell a few years ago (2005-2006) I was the victim of ID fraud whereby several accounts were opened using my name and date of birth, but at an address i'd never heard of let alone lived...

I paid Eastleys Solicitors in Paignton to challenge the enforceability of my loan with Northern Rock. They claimed there were breaches in my original loan agreement, however, they also said this about a HSBC loan I had but were actually proved to be incorrect by Niddy.
