    When do you do it?

    Put your Christmas tree up? (What else would it be?)

    I usually put mine up on 1st December. I have job interviews on Thursday and Friday which need quite a bit of preperation and I get terribly nervous (as regular users will know!)

    So, I'm taking a different stance regarding the interviews. I'm still going to put my tree up tomorrow (takes me ages because I have so many lights around the house and in the garden) and hope it will take my mind off the interview.

    I'm hoping that the 'I don't care if I get this job or not' tactic might pay off and I actually get offered the job!

    2 days ago the wife put it up - bah humbug
    I hereby promise to treat Debt Collection Agencies with the same values that they treat me. UTTER CONTEMPT !!

      At least I wait until December!

      PS My local 'cheap' shop is selling black & white 'Santa' hats with Bah Humbug! on them - I'll buy you one!

        Today's the day in my house - I refuse point blank to do Christmas before Dec 1st

        A friend of mine has had hers up since.....August!!!????

        *Note to self - get off here and upto the loft before kids get home!!!*

              NEVER if I can help it....

              although.....with an 8mnth old & his first xmas coming seems like my OH's gone mad on babys 1st stuff the way the house looks i'm thinking of charging visitors an entrance fee

                Two Bah Humbugs!!

                Though I do think it's the women who like the tree/decorations. My 19 year old daughter's put on fb that she's done the tree but can't get the lights as good as I do! I'm [size=5]extremely fussy about having them placed just right with no gaps and not having the same colour of bulb together! And I have 200 lights on my tree. Fibre-optic and prelighted trees just don't do it for me.

                I love watching all the kitsch movies and having Christmas music playing too. Last year was great because I was teaching an infant class so got to do lots of Christmassy things, even if all the kids were Muslims!!
