I have not complained to LS directly, I found an email address last week which was directly to the FOS and for PDL only. I submitted my complaint via email directly to the FOS. I then came across this forum and the rest is history. But no direct complaint has been made to LS yet by me.

However I will post my letter tomorrow recorded delivery.
Its not too much of a problem - lets see what/if they say, if anything, but to be honest its a side issue as they're a regulator, and if you read around a bit on the forum you'll discover that what they may state is not necessarily the same that is found in a court, as a court makes decisions based on law.

      Don't worry about it

Don't hold your breath on this, but I'd like to think that even the regulator will be shocked at LS providing 5 loans, but also get some satisfaction that if the FOS do decide to investigate LS then may be subject to a £550 case fee.

This may also put a freeze on things as LS may refuse to enter into correspondence while an FoS investigation is happening (and you could also use this too)

          Good morning SnV

I have just been copied into an email from LS to the FOS. The email says that LS are sorry for what I have been through. They say that they are gathering all the information so they can resolve my complaint quickly & fairly.

The fact that email is being used should drastically speed up the process for getting this resolved

Fairly however is a completely different matter. Lets see what LS come back with

              Yeah I'm sure they're sorry

I think you still need to send that letter to LS, even with the FOS investigation pending, and it may make them sit up and take notice a little more.

There is of course the eye of the FCA on the PDL industry at the moment which could also help your case, as what LS have done would almost certainly be taken with a dim view by the FCA.

                Re: Lending Stream

I had posted my question on MSE, however I have not had any responses at all. To be honest there is quite a lot of members on that site who rip people to shreads.
Someone else who has noticed that, yep that is MSE

As have most of the other users that have come here - Its a shame for those that give up after the experience they may face on MSE

We are here to support users - not judge them which used to be how MSE and others were like.

Though saying that there areas still on those forums that can be extremely useful - It just depends on the users that are there on the day i suppose.

And its good that you have sent off the letter recorded delivery - I would be inclined to update them about this, though see what SnV thinks.

                      Re: Lending Stream

Was good to get the letter off as S&V's letter may have touched on points you may not have raised with FOS, anyway you have now found the right forum with willing volunteers to help you get this sorted and there is no one better than S&V for PDL's however I have just one question for you having read the whole thread:

You say LS only have your mobile number so have you thought about changing the number and giving the new number out to just family and friends? if you are PAYG this will be a lot easier

You will then be safe in the knowledge that you will get no calls at all and force them to write and you can get on and live your life.

                      Finally Good Luck

Yes I for one am anti capitalist and how you got into debt is off no concern but how we can get you out is the only concern.

Just to add regarding phone calls, they can hardly say you are failing to communicate either if you changed your number as you have already complained to FOS and LS which said in S&V's template "all correspondence should be in writing which btw is a paper trail which we all need anyway with debt matters.

Just want to thank you all for your guidance this week, especially SnV.

Just to advise LS should have received my letter. I have received a number of emails from the FOS, they seem to be on the ball with my complaint. My payments are due two weeks today, at least I have given LS a heads up on my position and the resolution I seek, thanks to SnV.

As soon as I have an update I will let you know.

                            Have a good weekend.

Thank us all if we can get you a result - best case scenario I'd like to get at least some of the loans written off - there is no excuse to offer you five payday loans, it would be considered irresponsible lending by most, and any afforability check they did should have assessed you as a risk - ESPECIALLY the large jump in loan amount on the last loan.

Sit back and relax as much as you can now - ball is in their court, and maybe, just maybe, the timing of the FOS involvement may help on this occasion.

                                Re: Lending Stream

Thank you SnV and everyone who has shown support since my first post. I am grateful to each and everyone of you for your guidance. I know I have said this before but I am truly humbled by you all.

I have so much going on in my life at the moment (post people do) my Dad has not been well since the beginning of December and had to have a CAT scan a couple of days ago. The hospital called on Friday afternoon and he has to go and see the consultant on Monday. My Mum & Dad are my back bone. I would never ever put my problems on their shoulders. I pray my Dad gets postive results

SnV as I mentioned in my initial post, I have a pounds 2 pockets loan i took out in August 2014 for £1100. Payments have been approx £179 per month since then. In November I rolled the loan over, so I have to make a monthly payment of £179 until November 2015.

I have not missed a payment as yet, my next payment is due on the 30.01.15, however I will not be able to make the full payment.

Please can you offer some guidance and how this company operates to customers who cannot make full payment?
