    Re: Lending Stream

    Hi Natty

So lets get our teeth stuck into this

Could you provide the following for each of the five loans with Lending Stream please. I'm making the assumption that you've not missed any payments yet. If you have let me know as I'll need to ask a few more details

    • Date loan taken out
    • Amount of loan
    • Amount paid to date
    • Date a payment was last made
    • Status (i.e. have you discussed a payment arrangement)?
    • Did you have to fill out an application form and do you have a copy?
    • Were you given any pre-contact information or fact sheet so you could assess the affordability of the loan that was being offered to you?
    • Were you given a Risk Warning at any point during the application process (ie. told something along the lines of 'make sure this product is right for you'
    • Were you given a credit agreement and if so do you have a copy?
    • Did you at any time 'roll over' (or did you 'reloan') and if so how many times?
    • When was the last time you sent any correspondence to them (either by email or post) and have you kept copies of any of the correspondence that you have with them?

I know its a lot of information I'm asking for - please don't be put off by that, take a couple of days if you need to. What we're looking to do is establish if LS have followed the Lending Code, and also have provided the information to you they are required under the consumer credit act.

Once we've got an understanding of the circumstances of each loan, then we can offer help on how to approach this.
"I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."

The consumer is that sleeping giant.!!

      Re: Lending Stream

Natty it would help SnV if you use a separate post (on this thread) for each loan when you answer those questions.

        Re: Lending Stream

SnV wow! Thank you so very much.

I will get all the information to you by Sunday. I can answer a couple of the points right away

        • Status (i.e. have you discussed a payment arrangement)? - (No discussions have taken place. Next payments are due on all loans on the 30.01.15)
        • Did you at any time 'roll over' (or did you 'reloan') and if so how many times? (I have never rolled any of the loans over)
        • When was the last time you sent any correspondence to them (either by email or post) and have you kept copies of any of the correspondence that you have with them ( I have not sent any correspondence to date)

I will do a search through my emails and see what I have received from LS for each loan and get back to you over the weekend.

i am truly shocked to hear about the threats, unbelieveable.

I have only joined this forum today and I am so humbled by the kindness of strangers offering guidance. Cannot thank you all enough.

            Natty,

Many of us here have been screwed over by banks / finance companies.

If you feel the need / obligation to repay these parasites, fair enough, but I wouldn't be in any rush - they saw you as vulnerable, took advantage and exploited the fact.

                          Re: Lending Stream

SnV, I hope that the information is clear to you. I was not aware I even had a loan agreement until I have just located 5 of them on my account for each loan. I never received copies via email.

I only ever filled in one application form, each time LS contacted me via text or email they advised they had all my details to proceed with a loan.

I have not contacted LS at all regarding the above accounts, as advised payments are all due on the 30.01.15.

Thank you so much again for all your help.

Home/mobile telephone number? Place of employment?

Hi SnV they do have my mobile as I get texts from them when my payment is due, however I did not give them my correct telephone number for home & work on the application. The reason for this is I do not want any one at home knowing I had taken out these loans.

I am so stressed and scared of missing the payments as I do not want LS contacting me at home or work.
