      Vanquis sent e-mail to let me know I have not made the correct payment account in arrears, pay now or make a promise to pay.

                  a possible letter to very & vanquis:-

                  Dear Children,

                  One wonders if certain businesses (occupants) ever left Infant School, the childish games they play are ones left behind by normal intelligent children from the age 5 on-wards,

                  The business methods of those businesses who still use infantile procedures leaves a lot to be desired on the Management of the business practices.

                  Would be not be prudent for the instigators of Harassment catalogue
                  methods be deemed a (criminal offence)? , instead use ones common sense and
                  read what a letter/E-Mail contains,and respect request with due regard to formally agreeing to and if necessary an agreed solution, to benefit both sides.
                  Just a thought?

                    Letter received to-day from Vanquis in response to my not agreeing with their attempt to increase Interest Rates on any card to me, stating that the account will remain at the original Interest Rate until account cleared.

                    Sometimes it is necessary to increase interest rates on our customers accounts because lending on credit cards is unsecured and higher risk.
                    When deciding in interest rates we take into account a wide range of information, including how you have managed your account and information that may be provided by credit reference agencies as well as the risk associated with groups of customers and wider economic factors.

                    If you want written confirmation that your account has been closed or you have any questions, you can contact us on the telephone number above between:- bla Bla

                    so still no response on the E-MaIL front etc.

                    So high Interest rates cover their possible losses in the future? then any outstanding balance is already repaid in advance, there is a thought, and they would want double payment, how corrupt the business is.

                      Proves one thing, they increase soon as you mis a payment or query charges!

                      That is the trouble with this country, companies can get away with fleecing Joe public, yet if Joe Public try to be genuine with a company on the finance issue at times they are treated unfairly, and get away with it , Tory Government back all trends against the Public, as they line their pockets = reminds me I must put expenses claim in for that duck pond and 2nd flat I rent out etc etc etc.
