    a bit silly, as they wouldn't serve the full term. They should be barred from operating within a Financial Sector for minimum of 2 years (HOLD no position including payroll, cashier or 'Adviser').

      But they could probably afford to retire in luxury anyway, and need never work again, so that is not necessarily much of a sanction.

        The Wright Stuff just talked about this breifly, apprently it wont affect the (b)ankers who caused the crash previously, just considering it for future crashes.

        Which we all know either wont happen, or will be planned and will have a back up to cover their asses.

        No doubt they will get a nice bonus just before their short term jail sentence so they can retire on richard branson's island.
