      Mine is exactly the same as your mate....it says on one of the pages that it was the reverse side of the application form..
      Mine is very clear.....i sent that to :niddy yesterday....
      He has confirmed its .

              I'm the forum administrator and I look after the theme & features, our volunteers & users and also look after any complaints or Data Protection queries that pass through the forum or main website. I am extremely busy so if you do contact me or need a reply to a forum post then use the email or PM features offered because I do miss things and get tied up for days at a time!

                    These morons keep now phoning the house at all hours, but not saying who they are when the truecall cuts in, and they just hang up, also getting mobile numbers trying to get through, about 5 different numbers with only the end 2 digits different. would it pay to send some sort of letter in response to all the calls and original letter i got from them yesterday

                        I had the same thing from them and all the other companies in the beginning and just got rid of one recently after weeks of none stop calling at silly hours. I sent the Harassment letter and it stopped the recent company.

                        I always said they have the wrong number and put the phone down. Or I used to just put the phone down without saying anything. They did stop after this when I had them annoying me but,If that doesn't stop them then I2D and the Boss will help you with a further letter and/or advice. I know how annoying it is and it can really get you down but, they should stop with the letter. Good luck.

                          Just had Wescot phone again, and thought stuff it going to answer this time, they asked me to verify security questions and i told them to bugger off as i dont give those sort of details over the phone, they then asked if i received a letter from them to which i said yes. They asked if i was going to respond to it and i told them when i am ready and they buggered off

                            They are a pain in the ass and I would have told them to bugger off too... I can understand why you did what you did but, I would never say anything next time they call as we know they will!!!!! apart from wrong person and/or number and put the phone down..

                            I used to do the same as you and I learnt very quickly that they would never leave me alone if I continued to answer them and let them know its me..

                            Best thing to do is never let them know its actually you (the person who owes any debt)but, to instead just say that you have got the wrong number and put the phone down. Or say you dont know anyone by that name and then they cant keep ringing you. They will get fed up if you continue to say that and eventually stop calling you. I would only respond by writing and that's it.

                              you should have said, what letter? Who am I? Doesn't Data Protection apply to scum?

                              In essence they have just discussed something with someone they know nothing about, you could say it was me that answered your phone as a mate and now I know about your debt, ie time to complain

                              I would now start recording times and dates of calls.

                                Received a letter from Wetclothes today, Big red writing - Final Notice, 10 days to comply, unless payment is made legal action may be taken and a judgement or decree may be obtained against you.

                                Just a recap, this was originally owned by Egg, which was taken over by Barclaycard. Moorcroft chased this and ran a mile when they admitted no CCA could be produced, this then was transferred to wetclothes who have been phoning and writting letters if their lives depended on it.

                                Is there any letter template i could send to them which gives a load of legal jargon which includes mentions of no previous CCA by Moorcroft and the account was in dispute because of this.
