MBNA Visa
Balance £3,800 (ceased payments June 2010)
July 8th 2010 Requested CCA
July 21st 2010 Copy of application form plus T&C received
Nothing much happened on this account for months, it was sold to Arrow Global last year, they passed it around a few DCA's, who sent a few letters of threat but nothing too stressful.
Now received a letter from Debt Managers informing me they are now handling the account, will send "Sold in Dispute" letter and see what they come back at me with...

trust me

Halifax Card
Balance £13,573 (ceased payments April 2010)
May 19th 2010 CCA Request sent.
May 27th 2010 CCA received - UE
This account has been passed from one DCA to another for 3 yrs. always seen them off after sending them a copy of a letter I received from Halifax telling me that they could not find my CCA so are unable to pursue the debt through the courts.
Now received letters from Crapquest & Halifax to inform me the Crapquest now own the debt...
Will respond with "Sold in Dispute" letter, and maybe save my Halifax admission of no CCA letter for later up the road with my Capquest correspondence.
await their first threat then send the copy letter saying no cca. Don't mess around lol

Re: Alland UE Diary
Update 08-08-13
Having been away with work for the past 5 weeks I have come back to a bit of "Fan Mail"
After hearing no more from F.I.R.E a letter has arrived from Cabot stating they are still awaiting documents from Citi Bank....and will be in touch as soon as they receive them..."I wish them luck, because for the last 3 yrs. no one has come up with any docs"...Originally posted by alland View PostUpdate 10-02-13
Citi Financial card (now sold to Opus)
Last paid March 2010
Balance with added interest £16,658.22 !
Now with Cabot for collection activity
Well after not hearing from Cabot for a year on this one, they have now wrote to advise me that they are now passing my account to their debt collection agency (Financial Investigations & Recoveries Europe Ltd) Whooa...thats a fancy long title ! I thought Cabot did their own dirty work.
Having never received anything from Citi cards or Cabot except a standard copy of Terms & Conditions, I will write back and refer them to my last letter pointing this out, and as such my position remains unchanged while Citi/Opus are in default of my CCA request.
I'll keep you posted...
After no communication for ages, a letter has arrived from MKDP, just to let me know they are still awaiting CCA docs from Barclaycard and will be touch when they receive them..."again good luck in finding them because Barclaycard never did"....Originally posted by alland View PostUpdate 09-08-12
Barclaycard Mastercard (UE)
Balance £6469.00
Last Paid March 2010
Letter received dated 2nd August from MKDP LLP to notify me that they have bought the interest in the Barclycard account including the outstanding balance, which is now due under this account.
This was followed up on the by a letter from Barclycard also dated 2nd August confirming that MKDP LLP are now the sole owners of the account, and all monies due on the account must be paid directly to MKDP.
I have never had a CCA from Barclycard in respect of this account, and it has gone back & forth with a number of DCA's since my CCA request in 2010.
So now I will begin the usual correspondence paper trial with the new owners. Starting with the "Account sold while in dispute" template letter.
Another couple of letters that need replying to so I'll list them individually below...

At least Clownell are usually quick to accept reality when there is no hope for them, which is a lot more than you can say for Crapbot Farcical.
Well done, excellent result.

Co-operative Bank Visa
Balance £12,666.00
Nice Easter surprise from Lowell's !
Letter arrived from them this morning stating...
Despite the best efforts of the Co-operative Bank, they have been advised they are unable to find a copy of my alleged CCA due to the time lapsed since the account was opened. Therefore they have closed the account and no further demands will be made by Lowell's for the recovery of the alleged debt.
The letter goes on to advise me that should I still wish to pursue my request in obtaining a copy of my CCA, I should take the matter up directly with the Co-operative Bank.
Thank you and goodbye......
Lowell and Co-Op must be chewing wasps!
