Since this account was sold to JC International I have had just a couple of DCA’s send the usual "pay or else letters", following my replies of “Account Sold While In Dispute” they soon lost interest.
Until now the last contact I had was in December 2012.

Today I have received a letter from LRC Legal Recoveries & Collections Ltd (not had any previous dealing with this lot) saying they have been instructed by their client LRC to recover the total balance.
Pretty straight to the point letter….
Quote“ We expect payment no later than 11am on Tuesday 29th October 2013. If you don’t pay or contact us to arrange a suitable repayment plan by the time indicated. Court proceedings may be started without further reference to you in conjunction to our partner solicitors Sharp, Young & Pearce. DO NOT IGNORE THIS LETTER” Unquote

Looks like I should maybe skip the Account in Dispute” letter and jump straight to the “Threat of Legal Action” template letter….
One may be tempted to suggest that they expect a night in bed with Danni and Kylie Minogue but have little chance of getting it, much like the chance of LRC of getting the money they are asking for!!!

    Account administrators MKDP LLP

MKDP assigned to this account in mid 2012, various letters since then in response to my "Account in Dispute with OC" usually just to inform me they are attempting to get my CCA from the original creditor and collection activity is on hold.

Today I received a registered letter containing my original Goldfish account application form. And they now say as they have fully complied with my CCA request, I must call them to arrange payment of the outstanding debt.

I had received this application form in the past from Barclaycard along with a separate page containing the T&C.
It was previously deemed UE. What is different about this latest copy of the application form is the T&C are showing on the reverse side, it could simply be that originally Barclaycard just photocopied both sides and sent them on separate pages of paper. However the latest copy received today looks like it contains all the correct info apart from being a poor photo copy which makes it impossible to read the T&C.
    .
Not sure if this will change the status from UE, but for now I will respond with letter template "illegible T&C" to buy some time while I consider my next move.

well dont forget that firstly the defaults issued by barclays are defective on a number of grounds, their s86 notices are bad and therefore cannot attract interest nor enforcement, and then theres the question of s78(4) when the account is assigned too.................

Has to be legible, so it remains UE as far as i can see.

Not heard anything from LTSB or a DCA since a usual "pay or else" letter from Apex Credit Management back November 2011, I responded with "Account in dispute" template and did not hear anything else from them.

28th January 2012 - A statement of account from LTSB, just shows outstanding balance and says no interest is being added to the account and any payments made will be used to reduce the balance until it is paid off.

Strange thing is there is no demand for payment mentioned, and it is on LTSB headed notepaper and shows the registered office details of LTSB across the bottom, but the name & address on top for responding is actually Apex Credit Management office in Stratford upon Avon.
Maybe LTSB and Apex are one and the same ?

    Lloyds TSB Visa

25th Feb. Another Letter received from Apex Credit Management.

Following my "Account in Dispute letter" to them, they have finally replied with the following-

"We note your legal arguments, but unfortunately cannot agree.
The client Lloyds Banking Group have requested that you contact them directly to request an update on the dispute.
We confirm that we have placed the account on hold and you will not receive any further contact from us for 28 days to allow time for you to contact the client"

I have corresponded with the various template letters to Lloyds regarding a UE CCA during 2010/2011, so there is little point of contacting them again. So I suppose I will just have to sit this one out and see what level Apex plan to take it to next

    Update 02-09-2013
    Lloyds TSB Visa

Having heard nothing for months and months I have now received notification from Capquest advising me that they are now the "Owners" of my Lloyds TSB visa card account.

Will just have to sit on this and wait for the demands to begin before responding with anything...
