Hmm, ok just thought i'd check...

You could if you wanted just reply to their email with "sorry I am skint and can't afford this, i'll pay £50 if you bugger off" - they'll then sell it on after refusing you, the DCA will however accept between £70 - £120 for this size debt.

Therefore you can see why I am likely to suggest not paying it back right now....

Here is Niddy's post no 93 above, which I agree with.

                    Re: New and confused

Hi. Just received an e mail from Quickquid saying as i'm such a wonderful customer i can pay pay back my loan at £72PM FOR 5 months, the schedule actually shows 6 payments which totals the £432 i owe. Should i accept this to stop any further charges or wait for it to be passed on? Bit surprised to be honest

wow, the loan was 420 and in all they just want 432, sounds real good, no idea if that email can be used as a proof of offer, if so, sounds good, let's see what others in here think

Call me cynical but in my world if something seems too good to be true it normally is. Seems strange they've offered that without me asking unless its a clerical error. Says it has to be paid on old debit card too so not sure i trust this

In my opinion you are totally right not to trust them, DO NOT give them your debit card details though whatever you decide as they will raid it as and when they think you may have some money. Trust them as far as a hamster could throw them!!

My thoughts exactly. The account they said they would take the money from has been closed so no worries there. Nice thought that i could pay it back without charges but somehow i dont think i'll accept their offer

You are right samsmum, don't give them a debit card number. Susie is correct in saying they will raid it any time they like. Just take a look throught the various F & F sections /threads of the site and see just how untrustworthy ALL of these people are.
