                  Hi Loo.

The other option peeps have done OK with is the Post Office. Looking quickly through your thread I don't see a Lloyds issue we got our new business account opened there as a basic account debitcard/cheque book account despite the rumpus with Barclays.

You can send a letter of Appropriation for priority debts to youre account holder as well which makes the right to set-off more difficult for them to implement

                  regards

I would think you will be ok for a week or 2 so as long as you get the new one opened and transfer any cash out fairly quickly all should be well. Plus it gives you the time to transfer and direct debits or standing orders across.

HSBC is not a proper card, best trying NW LooLoo as they give a debit card plus (ie pink card with visa card)....

Good Luck with NW..... ask for a flex account, if they say no then they will offer a cashcard account however some flex accounts that do not qualify for the full account (ie chequebook and card) get offered flex but with a cashcard+.

I have a cashcard+ with NW thus do not use them, as I have full cards with all other bank accounts. At the moment I use Coventry and Bank of Scotland as my main ones - but both are full accounts, so no use to you.
