I was chasing a reclaim from UDT Financial and then Consolidated Marine both of whom are now out of business I passed the lot to the FOS.
After almost one year in the hands of the FOS in what I thought was a dead end they have eventually made a link between financial institutions that I thought were now defunct, an email today tells me that they have now started the complaints process on my behalf against said company, how it will pan out is anyone's guess as this case goes back over 12 years, but I did still have all the paperwork.
The message from me is that although you do not hear from the FOS in many months they are actually working on your case.
