    Hello
Not sure where to put this.

I had a provident loan which I stopped paying. It has gone to Buchannan Clarke and Wells who have now bought it. They have sent a formal demand and now a threat of court action . Thing is I am not sure if there is anything I can do other than pay.
I have never had a default notice but of course the term of the loan has run out.

    Any advice?

Can you pay? If not what can you afford?

Do you have any other payday debts?

You won't need to do a formal LBA response as they're unlikely to take action. It's BCW after all.

When end did you commence the DSL (doorstop Loan)?

        Re: Provident

The loan was taken out in 2008 I think for 53 weeks. I got behind with it and the last payment was late 2010. I have since pretty much ignored them. I do not know much about BCW except they once called me for being late paying my electricity bill. I have received the same letter when they were acting as agents so clearly computer generated.

SnV only the text loan one. They tried to call me twice, not heard from them in a few weeks now

Not a snowballs chance in hell of paying I am afraid
