I need help with capital 1 on how to remove (or at least try) the only default on my file, the default is for £113.94 which is made up from CC charges, and was put on my file on oct 2007
to give a more detail (in short) I had a credit card with a £250 limit, lost my job and by mistake I was £280 OD (£30 over my limit)
now cap 1 put a fair few charges (made the total £381.94 on there and according to them also a default notice, in the end I did a part settlement with them which left me owing £113.94
I'm willing to pay the money but i would like to know if there is any sort of way i could bargain to get the default removed, as it all seems a bit petty for £113.94, even more so when its all charges
oh i have tried to claim the charges and they said they were all fair
