Parking notice from VCS at Liverpool Airport

Hi all,

Received this notice and appealed to VCS, which was obviously rejected. Is it worth appealing to IAS? According to various things that i have read, it's a complete waste of time.

I was returning a hire car to Hertz and my wife was following to get me back home. She stopped and waited a couple of minutes for me to return. Where she stopped was a no stop zone apparently, she had no idea.

Seems like dealing with these cowboys is pretty fruitless.

airports are like loonies after the eejits tried to drive through Glasgow Airport into the departures lounge with loads of gas canisters on board.

so an airport is always going to quote security issues

Yeah IAS is pretty shite.

2 reasons to go there though.

1. Although the chances of winning are low it is not impossible to win, just hard to do so.

2. The byelaws, if applicable, may create an offence in certain circumstances and that has a 6 month time limit.

You'd need to supply details though, if you want help with an appeal.

No worries mate. I've just checked the email and it does contain the docs (4 pics in total). The rejection letter was dated 28 Sept and it states that I only had 21 days to appeal it. With this deadline now passed is it still worth appealing?

Sadly you are probably correct.

Have a read of this though, which is a huge headache for them when trying to claim there is a contract (which everyone with common sense knew anyway)
