Life after debts SB
All defaults have disappeared and all accounts are SB, and a basic account and a credit-building card showing green. What now? Cleansed/worthy/reformed or still a pariah?
It appears that normally only recent defaults impact acceptance. Any views/experience on whether there is a general...

Barclays Closing my Account?!

New TSB Basic Account
I needed to open a new basic account for personal reasons this month, but with a trashed credit profile and bad debts to most of the high street names, it was a bit of a search - but I eventually settled on, and was accepted for, the TSB Cash Account with no problems.
The TSB is a "new"...

Best Account!
Here's a new one from me (i.e. favouring a bank) - I think Santander are streets ahead of all other banks when it comes to

2. Online/Mobile features
3. Customer Service
4. Rewards

Cancelling CRA's clarification please
I have a number of PDL's, and have never defaulted on any of them. I got into a spiral where I would pay them off in full, then take them out again. However, this month one of my PDL's took the full payment, and when I tried to reloan could not. So, I am short this month, and will not be able to meet...

When will my default be removed?
I've done a lot of reading but can't quite get my head around when a default on my file will be removed.
I dealt with my debt problems some years ago (thankfully) - the default in question was for a student loan (current) account with the Halifax that I was disputing (bank charges) with...
