I need to have an asbestos concrete garage roof removed, so that I can have a new roof put on, but have been quoted over a thousand pounds for disposal, which means that I cannot afford the new roof!
Please does anyone have any suggestions?

Cars parking half way on Pavement
Really winds me up, and when there's damage done who foots the bill for a repair (when it's finally done) the local council tax payer. What's the reasoning behind it ? is it a habit ? Do people think that it allows the traffic to flow because in my experience you still have to stop because there's still...

Am I a Bad Landlord? You decide :)
I'm starting this thread because I want you to tell me what makes a Landlord a bad person through the eyes of a Tenant. I know what the law says I should do in each case but it's time you told me what should be expected of a Landlord regardless of their legal obligations.

Please share your experiences with me
I'm a student at Liverpool John Moores University. As I am in my final year I'm doing a dissertation. I have chosen to do this surrounding payday loans and other similar loans such as log book loans. If anyone would please share their experiences with me I'd be very grateful. Thanks

Council PCN
Got a penalty for parking in a loading bay. It was after 6, when (as far as I was aware) anything went. Although I didn't check for any signs. The bay did say loading.
Basically the ticket says go to court and get a CCJ if you don't pay blah blah blah.
If it went to CCJ, baliffs...

Expired MOT and Traffic Offence Report
This thread is posted as a warning.
Historically my MOT expired at the same time as my road tax. This meant that I had to get an MOT and ensure insurance was renewed before I rolled up at the post office to get the tax disc.
On my latest car the MOT ran past both the tax...
