I'm starting this thread because I want you to tell me what makes a Landlord a bad person through the eyes of a Tenant. I know what the law says I should do in each case but it's time you told me what should be expected of a Landlord regardless of their legal obligations.

On emergency tax after being on JSA all year

P45 and self employment
hubby is self employed and he also recently took another job with a cleaning firm , does he need to apply for a P45 ?
The firm he works for haven't mentioned this but he was just concerned it might delay wages come pay day

A friend has a credit card that they want to pay off and they no longer want the card.
Is it "best" to:
chop the card and pay it off and then close when the balance hits zero ?
ask the credit card company to close the account...
