      No.

Does it do the same when running with a fresh profile? Maybe an addon or plugin is misbehaving?

Has Firefox itself updated recently to a point release?

I thought it was just crashing rather than slowness that was happening with Flash 11?

Adobe updates Flash Player 11.3 to fix Firefox crashing problem - The H Open: News and Features

Not 100% sure, as problems only seem to effect Windows.

Before you start messing around downgrading or removing Flash, I would check to see if it is the cause by temporarily disabling it and seeing if that makes a difference.

                      Re: Firefox..

Have you restarted firefox recently. If not it will be due to the mass hogging of system resources.

Also Under the advanced tab on the options pop-up under network limit the cache too 100mb and clear it too.

that should help out with firefox.

I did see some info somewhere on which versions were effected, and if you wanted to downgrade which version to install to get the latest unaffected version which still has the latest security fixes.

Can't find it at the moment, only that h-online link, but there is some info out there somewhere if you want to keep flash active.

I must admit that as much as I liked Firefox I did ditch it sometime ago in favour of SRWare Iron, built on the same platform as Google Chrome and you can use all Chrome addons but it is so much lighter than Firefox or the Google version, it has a lot of the gubbins (technical word for crap) that Google put in there removed.
I keep FF as a backup to double check things but use it rarely now.

                              Thank you.

Chrome used to be tolerably good but, of late, it's up and down with the frequency of the mythical pair of whore's drawers.
