MSE Payday Loan Advice - OMG!

I have had a bit of time on my hands, so thought I would pop 'over the road' to MSE and see if there were any poor lost souls who needed payday loan help (as is normal at the time of the month).

All I can say is OMG

What is going on over there? I have never seen so much bad advice, trolling, and bashing of people. It would be a miracle that any of the OP's looking for advice ever returned.

It was obvious that there were several posters who worked for PDL companies using alter egos.

The amount of 'you borrowed it so pay it back' comments

The number of people advising 'ring them up and speak to them ' they're not as bad as you think'

It went on and on.

And then those brave enough to return, had horror stories of bank accounts emptied, harassment, threats of fraud charges. You name it!

I know that MSE has gone downhill a little, but I have never seen things that bad over there. I will try to guide as many as I can here, god knows they need some good advice.

Not sure of the point of my post really - I am just totally shocked!

I’m sad to say that I’m not surprised by much these days, the little toe rags from PDL’s (& other heartless people with nothing constructive to say) seem to sneak in anywhere they can to get at people. I am lucky enough that I’ve never had dealings with any of these twits, but if my situation had been any worse who knows where I would have ended up. Hopefully, for their sake, the MSE guests in need of good solid advice will find their way over here before their troubles deepen even further. I know where home is, I’m staying & not looking back!

if you thought thats bad....some of the trolling and so called "expert" advice on the bankruptcy parts of the MSE forum were beyond belief

If that was the case they would not be getting the sanctions that they are from the OFT.
