In my opinion, the bank made an offer to contract on terms, he made a counter offer to contract, the bank accepted that offer, they now have a problem or two.

I thought it was brilliant when I read it. Game set and match, they should have read the small print. Wished I'd have had the wit.

        Genius!
When Gold isn't enough, there is SA Gold! New to the forum and find the UE route a bit scary? Take a look at my diary here and judge for yourself. I am now saving the money each month that was making little difference to the balance and not a bit of difference to my credit file as a result of finding AAD.

This is really interesting. Banks (and others) continually state that consumers should read the t&c's of contracts before signing them and here they are having signed the t&c's of a contract the customer has asked them to enter in to (which they have accepted).

It would be great if we could have UK test case for someone to do the same thing here!!
"I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."

The consumer is that sleeping giant.!!
