    p.s. it is 100% unenforceable and will remain so for ever - they cannot and will not take any legal action, in fact you'd want them to take action cos in doing so they'd open a can of worms on par with Santander's loss to Mayhew.

    I'm the forum administrator and I look after the theme & features, our volunteers & users and also look after any complaints or Data Protection queries that pass through the forum or main website. I am extremely busy so if you do contact me or need a reply to a forum post then use the email or PM features offered because I do miss things and get tied up for days at a time!

            Just thought I'd give you an update.

            Received a letter from Lowell (with regards to UE Very account):

            "I have arranged for its immediate closure as a gesture of goodwill and without prejudice in the interests of arriving at an amicable and swift conclusion.

            As a result you will hear no further from us in this matter, something I trust you will find satisfactory. I do so on the understanding that this matter is now closed."

            RESULT!!!!!

              same as the one my daughter had a few weeks ago = littlewoods = shop direct from lowells.

                            Hi so it's been a while since I posted.

                            Now the UE account is finished with this is about my enforceable account with LLoyds.

                            I have today received a Claim Form from SCM Solicitors with a Northampton County Court seal. It's asking for acknowledgement of service . I'm assuming it might be a standard one which a lot of you very knowledgable people will be familiar with if not i can scan it over.

                            Could any1 advise what to do please?? I must admit its scared me a bit but think that could be its main purpose???

                                Well, unless you have an existing thread about that account that I can't find, then would probably be best to start a new thread in the "Everything Legal" section with all the relevant details.

                                Should be a thread somewhere detailing how to reply to a claim form when the debt is not contested or UE?
