I honestly can not remember whether I applied on line or not, will you be able to tell from the CCA?

Thanks for the emails, the only downside with the iPhone -

Anyway it is the normal blank cca and is 100% Unenforceable and not applied for online either.

Yee haa!!! That's made me happy!!! So is my next step to use the template letter to send to them stating unenforceability?

Thanks again for taking the time to look at them Niddy.

One must wonder why companies set up accounts like that. The Consumer Credit Act 1974 is hardly a new law and there are numerous guides, both printed and on-line, to help companies to comply with the relatively simple requirements.

Is their non-compliance the result of their stupidity or of their arrogance?

Uh oh, after reading the template and noticing the sign digitally bit I am really really hoping that when I sent the letter to request the CCA last August I didn't actually sign my letter!!!!! I do normall sign my letters so this is worrying me slightly. I did not even consider the implications of this at the time. Hope I didn't, suppose I will find out when they reply to the template letter I am sending them

Re: Unenforceable CCA with Very catalogue, help needed

Some debt collectors are prone to "lifting" signatures, but I can't remember very/SDG doing so?

It's a precautionary thing, so not worth worrying overly about.

Re: Unenforceable CCA with Very catalogue, help needed

I had a similar worry about some letters I sent prior to joining this wonderful site. I was reassured by Niddy and the crew that spotting a Photoshop style signature is pretty easy.

I actually have one now where I do not ever remember signing a form but a creditor has returned one showing just that!

                    I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks rizzle and mauijim, that's put my mind at rest a bit.

I've rang Ccs this morning and they have suspended payments on my DMP account for 3 months then said to call them back before payments are due to start to confirm if I definitely want to cancel the plan. So next step is sending template letter re: UE. Couple of questions: do I send it to Very or Ndr? And Do I send Lloyds a letter offering token payments of £1 for now in the hope that they sell the account on or just not send any correspondence?

                      Thanks.

Lol. Sorry Niddy didn't know if that referred to the Lloyds accounts as well. Will write the letter tomorrow whilst at work and get them sent out. I'll also update my diary over the weekend.

Template sent to Very today and payments stopped. Also stopped payments to lloyds in the hope that they will sell on the debt, anyone know how long that might take? Saving now in the hope that when it does get sold I can settle. Is there a "normal" percent that the debt buying companies normally settle for? Also going to have a look at my credit report this afternoon, let's see what the damage is
