      I agree with pixie, I think you would have a fair chance of them accepting £200.
      if your back is against the wall on this one and you have fought them off for as long as you can, then maybe it is time to draw a line under it.

      I know we are all different in our circumstances and what a creditor will do with each individual case, but if it offers any consolation, I had a £10K debt that the owners accepted a F&F of just £2K !

      Good luck with a positive outcome on this one, but before you jump in with an offer lets see what others think first. No claim form served so you have some time on your side yet.

            Alland.. you can rest assured i won't be jumping in. I'm too scared of my own shadow and still need a good shove in the right direction. Luckily there's a few with size 12 steel toecaps on here when i need a good kick up the bum

              Haven't we already dealt with 2 small claims for you? What's this, 3 now in as many months

              Ok, for now send ARC a CCA Request - why not. It'll put a wee spanner in the works if anything

                Yep. Aren't i the lucky one We settled on one and the other was stayed. Hoping we can get the hat trick.You also got 2 accounts written off for me with your bespoke letters......Still have a giggle and can't believe i actually sent them
                Sometimes when i can't see light at the end of the tunnel i remind myself just how far we've come and wonder where the hell we would be if we hadn't found you 2 years ago. I'm not clever or articulate but i hope you know just how grateful we are.

                    Send a CCA request to annoy and delay and then cross the next bridge when you get to it.

                      16/05/2013...Letter from Lowell. Debt has now been passed to them. Really important to pay back what we owe. Obtaining copy of credit file to see if we have assets such as our own home or other credit commitments. Could take us to court for judgement,could make us bankrupt if we owe more than £750.                               Was the CCA request you sent on 14th May the specialist one for overdrafts?
