definitely wiser - although to be fair a few companies are selling their accounts to these types of firms and in some cases it can be good cos they offer a fixed rate of interest and/or 0% but you literally pay off the existing debt......

In your case, do not sign anything! Just ignore it ;LOL

                Re: The Scarednshakins UE Diary

I promise I won't sign anything 2 That is one of many lessons learnt since I started all this.

Only thing in the post today is a letter from Mint, basically a Final Response from them, have filed it. Noticed when I went to file it that the last letter from them about taking phone number off their records has someone else's account number on the letter, naughty ;Spank

Hope everyone is well today 2

Got a letter from Iqor today, it is for the BOS Preference Acc. This had been with Apex, but had not heard from them since August.

Iqor want the usual, immeidate payment or will send someone round, or they might start legal proceedings. Did notice on the letter that they say the debt is to Capital Bank not BOS not sure what that means ;Hmm

Will send out Account Sold while in Disupute letter to them and also incorporate Telephone Harrass letter, hope that is ok.

Knew I would regret saying that, got 3 letters yesterday all in connection with this account.

First letter was from BLS informing us that we have to contact them today by telephone ;Hmm

Second letter is from LLoyds, this is one I have not had before. This is a Final Response but wish they all offered this. They are sorry for the time it has taken to investigate my complaints.

They have answered each complaint and accept part of my complaint.

'I have completed my investigation into your concerns. I am pleased to confirm that I am able to accept a part of your complaint, but there are aspects of your complaint with which I am unable to agree. The reasons for my decision and details of my proposed solution, to address the concerns I am able to deal with are set out below.

I am sorry you have not received a copy of your loan agreement. I will therefore accept this part of your complaint. I have made another request that this be provided urgently.

We do not generally suspend collections activities when we receive a complaint. If upon the the outcome of any dispute, we are required to unwind any of our activities, we will do so at that point. I am therefore unable to accept this part of your complaint.

I am sorry if you feel harassed by our phone calls, as they were not intended to make you feel this way. I will therefore accept this part of your compaint. Many of our customers prefer to be phoned, and if we are unable to get through first time, we will try again later. However, I accept your feelings on this matter and have removed your telephone numbers from our systems. You will still receive letters where appropriate.

In recognition of any inconvenience this matter may have caused you I have arranged for a cheque for £50.00 to be sent to you.' ;-y ;-y

Third letter is also from Lloyds which is a copy of the CCA, it is online loan, but having checking it over there is no box ticked.

I can send it to you Niddy if you need to see it. Still can't get over that they are sending cheque for £50 but will wait and see if it actually appears.

I know that these are not great as they can easily add a ticked box, but what they have sent out definately does not have a ticked box. Will wait and hear your thoughts. Cheers Niddy 2

                      Re: The Scarednshakins UE Diary

                      Hiya

Result! £50 eh? Nice one...... can't be bad.

Right, ignore their letter and see what they do next, good thing is that they have formally agreed to remove your numbers and they are sending you a £50 cheque as way of saying sorry. However we both know an online agreement is 100% enforceable so you need to remember you are blagging this, the fact the copy they sent you doesn't have a tick box matters little, they will cut and paste one if necessary - trust me I have seen it done! So just continue to ignore and see what happens...

Yep, you'll get a cheque, it comes usually within 2-4 weeks so be patient, it will come though. I have seen a few but usually I ask for £100 - but you don't wanna go pissing them off do you? ;LOL

Thank you Niddles, saw Nana called u that and thought it was great ;LOL ;LOL ;LOL

Another question for you ;Red At the start of last year, long before I found your thread we were given some money and got 4 cc's to agree to F&F settlements. I know this is probably a really stoopid question but can we reclaim late fees etc from these companies? Never thought about it but have been catching up on diaries and that gave me the idea.
