WOW this one is a bit of a blast from the past - where the hell do Cabot buy this shite from?!

Got a NoA from Cabot today regards this old Cap One account that I am pretty sure is now Statute Barred. The default date that Cabot has registered with the CRA's is Dec 2010, but I have gone back through all my old bank statements from 2009 - Jan 2011, and there are no payments whatsoever.

As the letter was just the standard intro letter I'm going to ignore for now, and I'm certainly not going to let them know its more than likely SB as don't want a speculative court claim issued!

Ditto. I paid into a DMP for 2 years, as I had thought at the time that it was my best option to keep my head above water. Then I happened upon AAD, and that was a game-changer. Now almost 4 years into UE, and a lot happier.

Lowell are now my biggest 'creditor' with purchasing all the Shop Direct accounts, but with no CCA's and with the challenge of unlawful charges they seem to have gone quiet (not wanting to wish the evil eye on myself). As has been said the last 12 months can be very much like 'sniper alley' so keeping my head down and not wanting to make myself a target!

    Re: The SaltnVinegar UE Diary

Well an interesting one from 1st Credit today. Received a letter with a list of 'transactions' allegedly showing how the debt was derived. Putting aside the fact I don't regognise the payments of how the balance was allegedly derived a couple of things I noticed on this account summary:

Title of the printout was 'Creditsolve - Live Legal Report' and also the header was 'PrintAccountPreSue_<account number>

Now I know that 'Creditsolve' is the name of 1st Credits internal collections system, but should I be concerned about where in the 'process' I may be with them.

They still have not responsed to my letter of over a year ago and provided details of the credit agreement for the overdraft, so I'm tempted to refer them back to that letter and ask them to provide the information asked for.

    Thoughts?

    Latest update regards Barclaycard/Hoist/Robinson Way

Letter received saying that are still waiting on a response from Barclaycard.

Good luck with that is all I can say, and hopefully they will get nothing or the load of garbage that I know they have
