    Large Discount Offers.

    When a DCA offers a large discount off the balance allegedly owed, is this a pretty sure sign they are not confident in going all the way to court and don't have the required paperwork? (I have already asked for CCA and sent CPUTR letters etc., receiving only a copy of an application form) The discount offered is about 40%.

    Sounds like they are desperate to me........

      I guess it does. This one is originally MBNA being bought by Experto Credite and now being chased by Aktiv Kapital, who the offer came from.
      File it away I suppose then.

        We have had offers to pay just 20% of the balance from 1st cruds .
