    URGENT NEED HELP PLEASE VW CAR

    hi guys i need advice,

    my dad had a car and sworn it. he had to remove the car due to garden work and parcked it into the street. he has now been fined.
    he cannot attend court on friday, we have a special needs child, the car is hired and was taken into council because it had no isuarnce but now we recived a letter of this.

    PLEASE HELP, HAVE TO ATTEND COURT ON FRIDAY BUT I CANNOT ATTEND ON BEHALF OF HIM.

    REALLY STRESSED.

      Hi simmie786, please try not to stress (easier said than done I know)

      It may not let you attach the letter because you haven't had enough forum posts (I need to check this).

      Can you just clarify? Are you talking about two different vehicles in your post.

      If your Dad had SORNed the car and then parked it on the street he comitted an offence so I don't think there is any way round this.

        its because it had been parked on public road, it's not parked on your property! confused is this for both cars? as you mention hire car as well. SORN vehicle can only be used on public road to take to garage for repair ONLY
