  • H L Solicitors/Sigma/T-Mobile

    Good evening all.

I have been receiving letters from H L Solicitors regarding a debt of (wait for it) £23.42 relating to an unpaid T-Mobile bill from some 2 years ago. I sent a couple of "what are you on about" letters and finally they sent a copy of the bill as "proof" that I owe it.

In all honesty, I actually do owe the money as it was the final bill of a contract, I had already cancelled the direct debit and just never bothered to pay it.

Today, I've received a letter saying that they will match any payment I make up to 50% of the balance. Does anyone reckon I should offer to pay £11.71 and get the rest paid by them? Or is there some sort of catch?

I realise I'm being a twat over £23 but what are your opinions?

    Many thanks.

Pay it or they will cry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no doubt, get it in writing as cleared lol as they tend to come back later in cases it seems.

They said they would send a confirmation in writing that it was clear.
