  • Looking to rent

We live in a mortgaged house, the house next door is a rental. Every 6, 12 or 48 months we get new neighbours more often than not they are a nightmare!

Anyway we were thinking if it was practical for us to rent our property and rent another property elsewhere.

I was wondering if this was possible with a long line of defaults for both me and the wife, i.e credit checks.

    Cheers

    Re: Looking to rent

We have rented after selling our house , for 18mths . I was worried about checks but Plan B advised that it doesn't always make a difference and as always she was right no need to worry. We did however pay 6mths rent up front ,but i imagine if you pay more than 1 month that would also go in your favour.Maybe Plan B would be able to give you some tips .x
if you do it today and you like it you can always do it again tomorrow

Also need to check whether your mortgage allows for rental

Well have decided to stay put. Which I think overall is the right decision.
