Taken out a loan With Intelligent Finance in 2002-03, PPI included, was told it was part of the loan package. Of course I was none or the wiser back then.

So this is another one I'm adding to the threads so I don't forget, as I have a few other ones to get out of the way as well LOL....

It is sage advice to report cards lost/stolen when trying to get out of the PDL trap. This prevents PDL companies from abusing the recurring authority method of payment to take multiple small payments from customers & emptying their bank accounts.

However this is a little warning...

1.We too has a loan with endeavour that was subject to PPi added to the loan. The ppi amount was £5000 and it was a broker that (purple I believe) that did the initial work. Definitley mis-sold as the guy said to take the ppi would increase the chances of acceptance of getting the loan. I'll stand...
