DMP, Have I done the right thing?
Thanks for the welcome. I am currently coming out of the darkness ( I hope) and have had a lightbulb moment about 5 weeks ago. I have gone onto a DMP and can now sleep at night for the first time in about 18 months. I am hoping that I have done the right thing as I sometimes here good and bad things... -

Optima Legal Harassment
This is basically a warning to anyone with a tomlin or court judgement in regards to this company.
They have just taken to phoning me up it extract more money out of me despite there being a tomlin order in place.

Barclaycard Mercers and default notices
I have been looking through paperwork as I am not getting the replies I would have expected from our now "ethical" bank.
I notice that I have had TWO! default notices from Mercers debt collections limited.

dmp for my son
My son is with the Halifax and also has a credit card with £1400 on it and pays back £60 a month, his hours were cut at work and he can't manage paying this back and the Halifax has an overdraft of £300 on it, he wants transfer his direct debits over to his other bank which is his car insurance...Last edited by Spent2much; 19 July 2014, 11:56.
