As many of you on here will know, not only have I been struggling with debt but I have also been unwell. Actually my debt crisis was caused by a car accident but I already had an underlying issue. Anyway I won't go into too much personal detail but suffice it...

I have insured with these for these for the past four years now (it's cos I'm an old fart) and each year they get more expensive than ever but they send you a little leaflet through with the renewal forms saying that they will beat any other like for like quote - and they do - surprise surprise....

Hi, don't know if this is the right place but .....
Had a court case, one court lost the defence, CCJ awarded then overturned when proof given etc. Case transferred to another court and thrown out as no t&cs. DJ suggested that original court should refund £40 application to have CCJ overturned....

This may be overly optimistic - but is there a way of ascertaining how much a debt was sold on for?

Would it be on what I've heard as the Deed of Assignment?

Might be naive in thinking I could get my hands on this - but curious. I'd imagine different dcas pay different amounts...

I am looking to VT the Hire Purchase Agreement of a car we currently 'own'.

The car is on a 36 month agreement with the 18th payment being paid in October.

However this won't quite cover the 50% I need to just hand the car back as the final months payment...

Right, as some of you will know I was with HSBC when all of a sudden they wanted to close my accounts, fine...

I arrived at the hot meat counter (where they sell roast hams, chickens etc) in Sainsburys at the same time as another lady.

The assistant asked what I would like, but looking at the other lady, who was "heavily pregnant", I said "no please, you go first, you look knackered...

Right, I am writing this on behalf of a friend who may register and come along at some point, when she has some time on her hands, but she have been having a little bit of hassle in regards of Solicitors called Heenans, but they could not longer deal with this case due to the Scottish law and so on...
