    Vista

    Is it possible to increase the amount/volume of the browser history? Mine only shows the first five ...... as opposed to when on XP and it had 20/25.

    I know its just a niggle, but I prefer them to be there!

    Is it also possible to have one drop down from the browser rather than three that I have now?

    if you using firefox, you can go back months

    (But i clear mine every few days)......for history

      however you do it, just change the "days to keep history" settings
      I'm the forum administrator and I look after the theme & features, our volunteers & users and also look after any complaints or Data Protection queries that pass through the forum or main website. I am extremely busy so if you do contact me or need a reply to a forum post then use the email or PM features offered because I do miss things and get tied up for days at a time!

      If you spot any spammers, AE's, abusive or libellous posts or anything else that just doesn't feel right then please report them to me as soon as you spot them at: webmaster@all-about-debt.co.uk

        Not what I mean. Might be Ie - dont know.

        On old versions of IE it kept about 20/25 pages in the history. This keeps only 5, then there are drop down menus for the "history" - so if I come on here, it registers any thread I go to .... obviously only stores so many, and the most recent ones. Then there is also a drop down menu for favourites (as well as a side bar) ..... both are starting to get like piles.

                    No 5corps.

                    You know the address bar, at the top - well mine only has 5 pages/addresses. Then under this it has a "history" page of some of the pages - including areas here for example and under this is is a "favourites".

                    Will try and put screen shot below.

                      all more confusing it doing that way - could always set the temp files, never to search for and that should not show less than 5?.... or just select the tab on right, HISTORY as below:

                        dont worry on mine it only has 9 on Firefox. But i just go to history if need to be

                          Thats not me! - thats just how it is set up and want to avoid it!! I want more than 5 to show up - I have a habit of forgetting addresses that I need.
