i decided that i wasnt gonna use it as a backup drive.
i currently have
- 1tb 2.5 external for tv shows
- 500gb 2.5 external for films
- 500gb 2.5 external for music software etc
I'm looking for making some other use out of it.
Currently adding small bits to my desktop to make it worthy of replacing my laptops.
Just order a Raspberry PI for potentially a small media player by tv.I am an IT Professional with a Background in most Microsoft Based Technologies. plug it or link it up to a DVDR media player like the Apple TV Box..........and stream or put all your DVDS onto it, and sell the originals off on eBay. space saver and clutter (thats what i've done)......I'm an official AAD Moderator and also a volunteer, here to help make the forum run smoothly. i've got 2 laptops that are for video playback due to broken screens etc
still work fine

I'm the forum administrator and I look after the theme & features, our volunteers & users and also look after any complaints or Data Protection queries that pass through the forum or main website.
