    hi,
never having used this, wondered what others make of the whole process? The site says the co-op would save me about £150 a year.
Is it as simple as completing the form and then waiting for the letters to arrive to say the supplier has been swopped?
    Cheers!

    Re: U-Switch

I have often used uswitch for the purposes of getting a comparison, however, I then usually carry out the transfer via a cashback site, for example topcashback - that way you get a little extra bonus back in a few weeks (can be a few months though).

It is easy to switch via uswitch or cashback sites; like you say, fill in your details and process is started. Takes a wee while for it to complete but you'll get start dates etc come through the post.

Do be careful to enter accurate figures though, as if you estimate to high or too low then it will change the result of how much money you can save.

Also, if you are in arrears with your current supplier they can either insist that they are paid off prior to transfer or even halt the transfer altogether.

Thanks for coming back to me Diddly
I will go via topcashback but you raise a good point about the accurate figures. because we only just moved the figures we are paying to the current supplier is a guestimate due to us not living there permanently at the moment. Would it be wise to wait until we are living there and take readings at the end of the month?
      Cheers!
