        I have received the following response from the adjudicator:

        Thank you for answering the questions I put in my previous email. With regards to where I am with your complaint, I’m waiting on Lending Stream to come back to me with further information on why they were satisfied each loan was affordable at the point you applied for them. Once I get this, I’m hopeful I’ll be in a better position to progress your complaint.

              Natty - I would forward this to the FOS adjudicator as an example that despite telling them they would freeze interest/charges, this is further evidence that they are failing to do so.

                  After numerous emails to P2P since early January they have finally realised they have been responding to the incorrect email address. I have received this response today:

                  Natty, as stated in the January 29, 2015 e-mail we sent. Your Continued Payment Authority was stopped as of that day.

                  Your debit card was removed from our system on January 26, 2015.

                  Natty, please make us aware as to what has transpired since loan origination that you are unable to pay loan. We may have a program that can assist you.

                  Your loan is currently in default for 382.08.

                  I also suggest that you contact us via chat. You can be assist by a live agent at that time. I also ask that you send me a contact number and I will personally contact you to assist you with this matter.

                    Hahaha, so someone with more than 2 brain cells to rub together has finally looked at your account.

                    So question for you is what would be the ideal result for you? What do you want to get from this? You can try for the irresponsible lending route, however you have less argument that you did with LS simply as you only have one loan.

                    We could try to get the balance reduced and then a monthly payment arrangement, or you could just not make a payment offer at all!

                      It has taken them over two months to reply, that is just not on, and here is me stressing out!

                      Can I still go down the irresponsible lending route, I realise I have less argument, but it can give me some time and then look for reducing the balance and then a repayment plan?

                      Can I also raise a complaint over their admin errors, two months is a pretty long time to wait.

                      I have just looked in my old email account and this was sent today:

                            You had left an ID number on the above which I have removed.
                            They have to notify you of defaults, but I don't think it has all the required information to make it a legal default. They say they have stopped interest and charges, so I think you can just ignore it.

                              Now you can see why we try to get people to realize that stressing about this stuff is counter productive. I know its real difficult as you want a resolution today so you can draw a line under it and get on with the more important things in your life, but the wheels in these companies turn sloooooooowly. As I mentioned before, its likely that this is the first time your account has even been looked at by a human being and I would bet the farm that almost everything you've received up to this point has been automated.

                              So with that in mind, be aware that anything you send them you may not get a 'proper' response for a while.

                              But also be aware that this works for you!

                              Give me a couple of days and I'll put something together for you with an irresponsible lending angle, and also their poor admin.
