          Hi SnV,

For some strange reason the site would not accept my password, have had to change it.

Had two letters from ARC a while ago saying they wanted to review my payment plan etc. I ignored them, and have continued paying what was agreed. At the end of the month I got two texts saying I had not paid in August, when I had made two bank payments two days before they sent the text.

Sorry to hear you had some trouble logging in to the site - glad you've got it sorted.

MM Finance are the bottom feeders of the PDL world, and frequently purchase PDL accounts and you do need to deal with them firmly. Was the communication below received via email?

If so, have you changed address at all so that they would not have been able to contact you via snailmail?

Most of my PDL's do not send me a statement of what I have paid, and at the weekend I decided to just have a look at where I was at. The balance on this account was £839.6 and I started paying them £40 on the 1st of October which means my last payment should have been June 2015. Yet I paid them in July, August and September, so they got an extra £120 from me!!!!! Silly me, was relying on them to keep me up to date with my account, and they don't! Only one of my PDL's sends me a statement each month. I can't believe they have got an extra £120 from me!

                    Hi Cecilia

Don't panic yet - have a look through your bank statements and caculate exactly how much you have paid them, and then let us know.

                      Hi SnV,

Have just checked all my statements online from 2013, and I made 24 payments to them of £40 which is £960.
They have been overpaid by £120.40

I'm so so sorry I've missed this, work has been mayhem the last couple of weeks and I'm struggling to keep up with everything (not just on AAD!).

Have you written to Payday UK stating that you believe you have repaid the amount outstanding, and that due to their neglect in sending you an annual statement, you have overpaid and request a refund of the overpaid amount?

                        - - - Updated - - -

BTW I'm assuming you've now cancelled the payments?!

                          Hi SnV,
No need to apologise, I appreciate your support when you have the time to give it.

I cancelled the payments as soon as I realised I had overpaid. I have not written to PaydayUK yet, as I was waiting to see what they will do this month when they try and get payment, and was hoping that they recognise that I have overpaid, and refund me the outstanding amount. Another part of me thinks that they will call me at the end of the month for the payment. Is it okay to email them, or should I put something in the post?

Read on another forum about Dollar financial having to pay 15.4 M to customers. I had no idea Dollar financial owned the Moneyshop, PaydayUK, Payday Express and Ladder Loans. I took out loans with PaydayUK and Moneyshop as you know. As I have been paying PaydayUK up until this year, and have overpaid as you know, I am assuming I will get a refund from them including my overpayment. Moneyshop never responded to any agreement I made to them a few years ago.

Compensation relates to the affordability of loans taken out in the year to April 2015, as well as the collection of repayments on loans taken out between January 2013 and the end of April 2015.

I would not assume that they will volunteer this repayment. I'd send them an email, explaining that you have overpaid and expect this to be refunded, and also querying the status of the compensation.

See what they come back with......
