My way but am sure Niddy has a quick way but here goes. Will probably learn something myself here. LOL

Forum Jump at bottom of page. Open it. Gives you list of subforums. Choose one closest to what you are wanting to ask about.

Open the subforum from the list. Left hand side of subforum page you will find start a new thread button. Click on that and it will open a box like this one just with header.

Fill it in and post it.

Aren't they using the "specialist" company, MacKenzie Hall?

They will never get my details and I will never be stupid enough to do that again, I've only started being reasonably content and happy in my life again after a rough few yrs bottling that all up.

I see the light finally ☺

I've said it before but this site rocks! You guys are all really great, and you def in particular SnV, meant what I said before, I really owe you, I've donated to the site and will do again but would really like to donate to a few beers for u fund! Hopefully somehow we can make that happen, a token off much appreciation cos it was all mostly your letters that kicked ass.

              Tinkers ☺
if you want to buy SnV a few beers all you need to do is either make a donation to us with message stating you want it to go to SnV and we'll then pay it him via bacs/paypal for you (as I already know his name etc its a lot safer).

Or just pm him direct and ask

Great news Tinkers! It would be good if you can get them paid sooner but don't leave yourself short on account of these scumbags. I'd wait until you have sufficient buffer in the bank before thinking of paying them off early.

Mate thats very kind of you but I'd have to decline, I can see Tinkers has already donated to AAD but I'd rather see any beer money go to the forum fighting fund than to me directly if Tinkers wants to do that.

Thats what I'd heard - but not personally seen any letters to Wonga 'customers' from them as yet. I know its only a matter of time

I wonder how they would have approached chasing that 15 year old that was in the news today whose details had been used fraudulently to get a loan? I'd have loved to have had that opportunity to tackle Wonga

Hey everyone, Salt n Vin, that is kind of you and ill make another donation within next few days, updating new debit card on paypal, this is a worthwhile site which still need donations to keep fighting!

Ohh think payday express being wanks, excuse French, on the 13.3.13 my balance was £494

I have paid a token payment and two monthly payments, totalling £95, which leaves balance at £399

However, I emailed them advising this months instalment was made and they emailed me back a balance of £522!

I emailed them back and asked how they make it £522 and if they were adding charges after agreeing a plan, I would cease payment, take advise and report them. I await their reply, the fight is far from over but I'm not the frightened little girl any more lol

I also emailed wonga to advise I made my payment through standing order, well on time for the 8th of each month, I got a standard template back staing if I was in difficulty I should contact them to arrange a plan! What the feck??? I'm already on one u dozy gits, sending out standard templates, highly unprofessional, I will also be emailing them back with a response along those lines!

                          Hi Tinkers

Ultimately you can only pay what you can afford - better to reduce the payments and stick to a payment plan.

How many more payments would you have to make on the current plan?

I guess the question is can you hold out for 10-18 months and only you can answer that honestly.

How will they react - well tbh that is irrelevant - they will huff and puff but ultimately you cannot get blood out of a stone. The only problem it will present you is that they will use this as leverage that you 'broke the agreement' and so may try to add charges on to any outstanding balances.

TBH if it got to that point I would be writing to them explaining that they would be getting nothing.......

Up to you really - only thing I would suggest is that you sit down and go through your income and expenditure thoroughly and make sure that whatever amount you set this time is realistic before you write to them with an amended figure.

If you decide to do this then everyone here will give you the support you need to push it through.
