    Hi NW, the road we usually use is closed until after the weekend, however we took a back road to our 'alternative' beach. I believe the whole area was flooded earlier as the local council were clearing the road and car park. Strange, but the beach was empty so we all had a good play, no one went in the sea, despite the beast paddling in the streams .

                      I'm back . Beat the bad weather on the journey home, phew, then became Bob the builder and rebuilt the garden! Not only can I repair a flat roof, I can now relay felt on a shed!

                                we have had persisting rain all day, luckly stopped just as the chilblains came out of school and started again just as we got them all on the bus
