Sherbet fountains, had 'hollow' licorice so you good suck up the sherbet??

Due to health and safety, they stopped that so no one choked!!

I loved those! Still do, or rather I did until they put them in plastic tubes. It doesn't taste the same.

I'm not that keen on sherbet things. My dinner money was used to purchase Tom Thumb drops - the fruity version of sherbet pips or blackcurrant liquorice.
