phoned an insurance company to renew house insurance,(they had spelt our surname wrong) call lasted 11mins, 5 of those were pre recorded info, when the lad actually spoke to me and asked how he could help(poor boy) I told him, tell your company to cut the crap on the phone as I was paying for it. And I bet most of those calls, if not all, were to government departments/agencies. sure it was on TV recently that the government are trying to get company s who want you to phone them on 0845 no, to give you a 'normal' number, our Drs tried using an 0845 no, to make appointments, they soon changed it back as every one started turning up at the surgery in person and blocked the place upI'm an official AAD Moderator and also a volunteer, here to help make the forum run smoothly.
