    Received some typed out 'Copy Statements' off MKDP dating from July 2011 to Oct 2011.     Received a letter from MK Rapid Recoveries, though they sound like a dodgy breakdown service they're the ones B/C have transferred my account to.

    Apparently regardless of there attempts to phone and write to me (none of which they have done yet) they have still not received an offer of payment. How remiss of me!

    Should I ignore or send a letter of some sort?

    Wait until you get a letter from MKDP, then update us.

    Hi all,

    There was a few weeks of silence after i received my last letter from Moorcroft but I've now received a letter from Barclaycard.

    They are writing to tell me they have assigned and transferred my account from B/C to MKDP LLP. They are now the owners of my debt.

    Unless anyone thinks different I'll just wait to see what i get sent next.

    Exactly the same letter received from Moorfcroft as above. Blah, blah, blah call us to discharge liability. I'm still ignoring until they send me something else.

    I think it just means that they want you to pay

    They use terms like this to frighten people (and succeed!)

    In addition there client will continue to report the conduct of my account to CRA's and they want to hear from me within 14 days with my proposal for discharging liability.

    Need some help on the next step. I have no idea what they mean by 'Discharging Liability'!
