    MBNA card update

Hiya all, like other fellow posters, I too have received today a notice of assignment from MBNA with a letter from Arrow Global also enclosed. Arrow have said that Fredricksons will be looking after the account. I find this quite a strange move as fredricksons were involved with this account back in July last year at which point I sent them the 'no CCA' template with a copy of a letter from MBNA confirming this. I didn't hear any further from them after that.

Because dca's are all run by muppets, they probably won't even realise that they have had this account before😏

I will wait to see what they send if anything

Heard nothing further from Credit Security Ltd after there one and only letter, but today i have received a letter from Regal (Bagshot bums) Credit Ltd, DCA No 5 on this journey. Standard letter it seems 'instructed by client to request immediate settlement', 'contact them', 'Do not ignore', 'MAY result in legal action'

Should i start out with 'Account sold' template??
    Hi,
I too have credit security ltd after me I also have credit solutions ltd as well, it can become quite confusing when sending back replies, but at least they tend to disapear in the end.
    Good luck.

Thay say they are acting on behalf of Wescot and RBS (Mint) basically saying that there is no valid reason for non payment and settlement is required within 7 days and to contact them if i wish to discuss the account.

Do i just ignore this and await something more threatening?

    Hi Slick,

You may get an epistle from Nelson Guest and Partners now. These are the "letterheads for rent" solicitors for Wescot. They will return it straight back to Wescot if tell them that there is noo CCA or it is UE etc and they are now guilty of professional misconduct etc. The mere mention of the SRA sends them packing. One moreFINAL WARNING in big red letters from Wescot and its back onto to someone else or sold to some one like Lowells or MKDDR LLP.

    regards
    Garlok

    Thanks I2D and Flowerpower

1- They have not received a reply to their first letter

2- Enquiries have confirmed as resident at the address

3- Do not ignore this letter and contact them within 10 days to make payment or further collection activities will be undertaken!

4- COULD include client taking legal action or Door step collection

Considering point 4 has 2 'Threats' which template would be best to send back please?

    Cheers

    TSB Loan Update: so far

After no activity on this account since July, TSB have now passed this on to a 3rd DCA 'WESCOT' who have sent a standard debt collection notice.

TSB have never sent any kind of CCA since i requested one in July 2010.

Wescot are also dealing with another one of my accounts too, so i have experience in dealing with these

Should i send 'account sold whilst in dispute' letter or await something more threatening from them

    Cheers
